Tuba Bach Chamber Music Festival

Ed Mallett as TubaMan in the 2009 Big Rapids 4th of July paradeIt's not just the Tuba. It's much more than Bach. It's a series of Sunday afternoon concerts featuring internationally acclaimed tuba/euphonium artist and composer and Big Rapids resident Dr. Edward K. Mallett, joined by outstanding musicians in diverse programs ranging from opera to bluegrass, avant garde to rockabilly, and - of course - Bach.

Tuba Bach's goal is to provide the Big Rapids area community the opportunity to attend and experience world-class musical performances in their own town, free of charge. Tuba Bach is a community music event.
