Tuba Bach is pleased and excited to continue our partnership with the
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC !

Spanning our first 18 years, more than 150 MSU students, faculty and alumni have participated in our annual festival and concerts. We’ll of course continue that tradition, but starting in 2021 and moving forward . . .

Go Green!

Our new “TUBA BACH PRESENTS . . . ” series, featuring student and faculty performers from MSU in Sunday afternoon concerts scheduled throughout the year. Last year we presented eight MSU concerts, featuring over fifty students and faculty members, right here in Big Rapids! We look forward to more of the same this year, beginning with our first MSU concert on Sunday, November 6, featuring tenor Richard Fracker, professor of voice and head of MSU’s vocal arts program, along with faculty pianist Elden Little.

All concerts held at Tuba Bach’s new home, Immanuel Lutheran Church of Big Rapids, and presented free of charge, continuing our tradition of priceless entertainment!

MSU musicians participate in a variety of community outreach programs, bringing their talents to area nursing homes, schools, and other such venues.

Students benefit from collaborative and enthusiastic experiences through internship opportunities, working with both Tuba Bach and the MSU College of Music.
