John Stites Jazz Awards

Tuba Bach is pleased to be a recipient of a John Stites Jazz Award in support our 2023 Festival – specifically our opening concerts on the weekend of September 9 and 10, featuring the Rodney Whitaker Sextet performing several jazz standards, and Noah and Ed Mallett premiering new compositions for euphonium and piano, commissioned by Tuba Bach,  based on those tunes.

Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC)

The administration, faculty, and students from the MSU College of music have been involved with Tuba Bach from the very beginning, and we are so pleased to have formalized a collaborative partnership with them beginning in 2021, bringing additional programming to our community – Go Green!

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)
